Getting Started

Your first 15 minutes

After creating your account, here's the fastest path to a useful HIP Score:

  1. Connect one wearable. We recommend Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop, or Garmin first — they provide the broadest biomarker coverage.
  2. Allow HealthKit / Health Connect permissions. Hunuu only reads what you approve. You can revoke access any time.
  3. Complete your baseline profile. Age, sex, height, weight, and activity level — so your scores reflect your body, not a population average.
  4. Wait ~48 hours. Your HIP Score becomes meaningful after Hunuu observes two full sleep cycles and daytime activity patterns.

FAQ

How do I connect Apple Health / HealthKit?
Open the Hunuu app → Settings → Devices → Apple Health → Grant Access. iOS will prompt you to choose which data categories to share. We recommend enabling all health categories for the richest insights — but you can select only what you're comfortable sharing.
How do I connect Health Connect on Android?
Open the Hunuu app → Settings → Devices → Health Connect → Grant Access. You'll be sent to Google's Health Connect screen. Select Hunuu Health and approve the data categories. Requires Android 8.0+ with Health Connect installed (pre-installed on Android 14+).
My HIP Score seems low / high / wrong. What gives?
HIP Score is normalized against your personal baseline, which takes roughly 7-14 days to stabilize after you first connect your devices. During this window, scores may swing widely. If your score still feels off after two weeks, email support@hunuuhealth.com with your account email and we'll audit your baseline manually.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, always. In-app: Profile → Privacy Controls → Delete Account. Your data is immediately deactivated and fully purged within 30 days. If you prefer email: privacy@hunuuhealth.com with subject "Data deletion request" and we'll process it within 30 days per HIPAA guidelines.

Is Hunuu Health HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Full details in our Privacy Policy. Short version: TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access controls, audit logs on every PHI access, signed BAAs with all vendors, 60-day breach notification commitment. We do not sell your data. Ever.
Does Hunuu replace my doctor?
No. Hunuu provides intelligence, not advice. We read signals; your physician writes prescriptions. Hunuu's AI insights are decision support, not diagnosis. For any symptom or concerning change, consult a licensed medical professional. In a medical emergency, call 911 (US) or your local emergency number.
I forgot my password.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password" and enter the email you signed up with. A reset link arrives within 2 minutes. If it doesn't, check spam, then email support@hunuuhealth.com.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Profile → Privacy Controls → Export Data. We generate a ZIP containing CSV and JSON versions of your biomarkers, HIP Score history, device connections, and settings. Delivery to your email within 48 hours for accounts with large data volumes.
What devices does Hunuu support?
50+ devices across wearables (Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop, Garmin, Fitbit, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Polar), CGMs (Dexcom G7, Freestyle Libre), sleep tech (Eight Sleep, Withings), biosensors (Epicore, Sibel Health), and EHR systems (Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, Athena, Allscripts via FHIR). How do I cancel Founders Club?
Founders Club is a one-time purchase — there's nothing to cancel. If you want a refund within 30 days of purchase, email support@hunuuhealth.com with your Stripe receipt and we'll process it, no questions asked.
I'm a healthcare provider. How do I get listed on SIQ?
Email partners@hunuuhealth.com with your NPI, practice details, and primary specialty. Our SIQ team verifies credentials (typically 3-5 business days) and scores your practice across SWAG dimensions (Trust, Wellness, Accessibility, Transparency). Listing is free; premium features for practices available.
Troubleshooting

Common fixes

Device not syncing

Force-close the Hunuu app, then the device's native app (Apple Health, Oura, Whoop). Reopen both. 9 times out of 10 this resolves sync lag. If not, disconnect and reconnect the device in Hunuu → Settings → Devices.

HIP Score stuck at N/A

This means Hunuu doesn't have enough data to compute a score. Usually fixed by wearing your tracker for two full nights of sleep, plus daytime activity. If still stuck after 72 hours, email support@hunuuhealth.com.

App crashes on launch

Delete and reinstall. Your data lives in the cloud — reinstalling doesn't lose anything. Sign in with the same email. If crashes persist, email support@hunuuhealth.com with your phone model and OS version.

Can't connect to AI (Dr. Hunuu)

Dr. Hunuu requires an active internet connection. If you're on cellular and getting errors, try Wi-Fi. If the issue persists on Wi-Fi, our AI service may be temporarily degraded — check the status banner at the top of this page.
